PPMS is one of the premier pre-health organizations on the UCF campus and as such, PPMS is able to provide its members with numerous opportunities. You will be exposed to local professionals at our bi-weekly meetings, giving you an inside look at various professions, while providing important contacts for shadowing and internship opportunities. You will have the opportunity to socialize with peers, gain information about professional schools, help fundraise, and volunteer in the local community. In acknowledgement of your dedication to PPMS, you will be awarded Honors Points for participating in our events. This will allow you to establish yourself as a PPMS Honors Member (see below). In addition, the member with the highest amount of Honors Points at the end of the year will receive a free admissions test review course (DAT, GRE, MCAT, OAT, or PCAT) from either Princeton Review or Kaplan worth up to $1,900.
When you become a member of PPMS you will receive emails about upcoming meetings and events. If you are unable to attend meetings, you can stay updated on upcoming events by visiting our website and easily sign up for events by emailing the contact listed on our events calendar.
Membership in PPMS will help you establish yourself as a competitive applicant
to your desired professional school. Join PPMS today and become part of
the organization which was recognized in 2008-2009 as Large Organization
of the Year for our continued contributions to student life on the UCF campus.
If you are interested in becoming a member of PPMS, please feel free to complete our online application. You will be added to our mailing list which will allow PPMS to provide you with information regarding meetings, events, and volunteer opportunities. Once you become an official member, you can pick up your club shirt at the next meeting or by visiting the PPMS cubicle during any of the office hours listed on our website. Please note that these are the only two ways to retrieve your PPMS shirt.
