At the
University of Central Florida
Student Union 208
PPMS members are an integral part of our society. Every member is encouraged to volunteer in our various programs and give a hand by providing services for the community. Participating in the many PPMS events is not as hard as you think, since registration is just an e-mail away. Plus, many of the activities are listed right here on our website and updated weekly. So feel free to choose the event or program of your choice and join us in our mission of helping create a better community, and a better university environment. Enjoy all the benefits of volunteering and becoming knowledgeable of the professional health field with PPMS. Join us today!

Membership in our society has its advantages. Members are eligible to receive PPMS points which are awarded for attendance to the many events, meetings, and social events; so volunteering with us can be very rewarding. The PPMS member with the highest amount of points at the end of each year will be rewarded with a Review for the MCAT, DAT, OAT, PCAT, or GRE courtesy from the Princeton Review, valued at approximately $1,700. Plus, integral participation with our society can help you satisfy the volunteer hours you just might need to get into that school of your dreams. Also, you will have the opportunity to interact with physicians, deans of admissions, and current professional students. We encourage current and prospective members to take advantage of these incentives and participate with us.
When you become a member of PPMS
you will receive emails about upcoming meetings and events. If you can not
attend a meeting, do not worry, you can always attend an event. PPMS will
provide for volunteering, fundraising, socials, internships, school
visits, shadowing, as well as job opportunities related to the medical
field.
If you are interested in becoming a member of PPMS, please feel free to complete our online application. You will be added to our mailing list which will provide with information regarding meetings, events, and volunteer opportunities. Once you become an official member, PPMS would like to provide you with a complementary polo shirt, available for pick up at the PPMS office. Please note that we do not mail polo shirts.
