School Year: Sophomore
Major: Molecular Biology & Microbiology
How long have you been in PPMS? Since my very first week of college
Career goals: I hope to study Osteopathic medicine. I want to bring back the holistic philosophy that many D.O's seem to be forgetting about.
What do you like most about PPMS? The amazing members! My first semester of college, I was having a bad experience and ended up ready to give up on medicine completely. I just felt completely out of place here. Once I got super involved in the PPMS family, I felt SO much more at home and was able to really come out of my shell. All of the friends I made here who shared the same experiences motivated me to work through the tough times. Now, I'm more at home at UCF than ever!
What would you like to see in PPMS this year? More attendance at PSI events, of course! Especially our trips and workshops. I want to hear from members that PPMS programs really were what helped them do better in class, make new relationships within the UCF health community, and eventually get into professional school! Most of all, I want to see our family grow and continue to be UCF's #1 club!
Hobbies: I LOVE to volunteer in my spare time. I am also really into movies, Broadway musicals, acting, helping animals, working out, nutrition, reading, any sort of arts and crafts, and occassionally playing my keyboard.
